Made from high quality pressure treated timber, this portabase equips garden buildings with a strong, level and sturdy base while providing protection from damp.
Galvanized metal spikes provides maximum support and securing the structure in place to ensure the frame remains firm to the ground. The robust metal spikes also allow the base to level a gradient of up to 65mm. Made in the UK this portabase is manufactured using ethically sourced pressure treated timber, a process that involves infusing a high quality preservative deep into the fibres of the timber to protect against wood rot and decay. This portabase fits most Mercia 6x4ft shed and garden building offerings. Please refer to the spec drawings to ensure an appropriate fit before purchase. The team will be in contact to ensure a successful and smooth installation process. Please note that prior to the delivery and installation of your building you must prepare a suitable base. We recommend a base that is firm, solid, level and no smaller than the size of your chosen product. We also recommend that a 2-foot clearance gap is left around all sides of the building for maintaining the upkeep of the timbers. This installation service is not available in Ireland. This product must be treated with a wood preservative and waterproof top coat once installed and annually thereafter. |
